The medical school in Camagüey graduates about 200 physicians a year. The Wisconsin Medical Project has provided both English and Spanish language textbooks to the medical school. Doctors are trained to read “medical English”. In addition to the textbooks, the Wisconsin Medical Project has also provided teaching equipment such as microscopes.
